Pop the Pit Bull


121908_Pop is a black Pit Bull that was allegedly hit by a car and broke its hip and popped its left eye out of its socket. Pop was taken to the Blackwood Animal Hospital for treatment but was released to its owners after they said they would seek medical attention someplace else. A short while later Camden Animal Control found the dog abandoned with eye still hanging out of socket and hip broken. Officer McDonald is promoted to Sergeant

The late highway patrol officer Patrick McDonald was promoted to the rank of sergeant by the mayor and police commissioner.
